From Interstate 64 West of Charleston, WV |
Take I-64 East to I-77/I-79 North. Stay in the right hand lane until you are on I-79 North. At Exit 40 (Big Otter), turn left on State Route 16 North to Arnoldsburg, WV. Bare Right at the "Y" to State Route 33/16 North for about 2 miles then left on State Route 16 North in Millestone. Continue north for about 8 miles, Calhoun County Park will be on your right. From Interstate 64 East of Charleston, WV |
Take I-64 West to US 19 North at Beckley. Drive North on US 19 across the New River Gorge (No stopping an looking :-), on through Summersville to I-79 South. Go south on I-79 for about 15 miles to Big Otter. At Exit 40, turn Right on State Route 16 North to Arnoldsburg, WV. Bare Right at the "Y" to State Route 33/16 North for about 2 miles then left on State Route 16 North in Millestone. Continue north for about 8 miles, Calhoun County Park will be on your right. From Interstate 79 North of Morgantown, WV |
Take I-79 South to the Burnsville Exit (Exit 79!). Turn right on State Route 5 for 13 miles then left on 33/119/5 in Glenville (only for a mile). Turn right at the signal light on Route 5 West for 20 miles. In Grantsville, turn left at the light, cross the bridge and drive 3.5 miles South on R16. Calhoun County Park will be on your left as you start up the hill (BE CAREFUL HERE!). Back to Top of Page

From Interstate 77 North of Parkersburg, WV |
Take I-77 South to Mineralwells Exit 170. Turn left on State Route 14 (Be careful to not miss the hard left turn after you cross the second bridge!). R14 to Elizabeth, WV (about 20 miles) then turn left as you exit Elizabeth on to R5 East for about 27 miles. In Grantsville, bare left around the Court House then right at the light, cross the bridge and drive 3.5 miles South on R16. Calhoun County Park will be on your left as you start up the hill (BE CAREFUL HERE!). Back to Top of Page
